I understand how these things go when they're achool project- but I have to agree with the lesser votes here. the art was.. good, quite good. and the style is something new and refreashing- but to get a new style across you have to make sure it's very clean, crisp and well executed. I don't think this accomplished that. There were many overlapping lines, and quickly done sketches.

The plot was.. well.. flat. It lead to a slippery slope downwards into well.. not much of a resolution. An easy way out if you will. I was hoping for more with this

Not very creative to be honest.
When it comes to sprite animations because the animation itself is lacking in style and design you tend to relay more heavily on a good plot and/or excellent humour. This was lacking in both.

No, it was all together missing.

There wasn`t really anything unique or memorable about the entire animation save for it`s repetitive nature. A joke that wasn`t funny once isn`t going to get any funnier if it`s beaten and drawn out to almost every joke in the entire flash. I would have stopped watching it near the beginning if I hadn`t already decided it was bad enough that I needed to, and thusly would have to watch it all the way through.

I got the distinct impression that this was created by two 14 year-old boys who were just laughing at each others stupid jokes and figured everyone else would find their monotony hilarious...

we don`t.

P.S. To prove my point here is some number crunching:
Out of all your jokes -7- Were the luigi joke
And a total of -7- weren`t jokes at all.. they were just showing a part of the gameplay.
Out of the actual 19 Jokes in the movie- that makes 14 repeated or not jokes... Meaning only about 6 were actually worth giving a damn about.. and that`s not even touching on if they were good or not..

It`s been so long since I`ve favorited a video I honestly couldn`t remember how for a moment or two.

Everything about this is exceedingly well done.. Im at a loss.. I don`t have anything I can say badly about it- which is you read my 200-odd other reviews has NEVER happened.

It`s a nice mix of parody.. it has a good timing for release. It`s well animated, smoothe flowing. The voice acting is well done and clear. The humor is perfect and yet classically achieved. This is something to be proud of. I honestly found myself wishing that there was an actual episode attached.

Consider making one! Two thumbs up and my humblest of thanks for this gift.

I could take my review for Undead Steel 1 and copy and paste it and it`d still ring true-... which isn`t a good thing. It preludes that you haven`t taken to heart the suggestions that were made in your former video.. I suppose some people post their work not looking to improve it, but I would hope that as an artist you`d be curious as to where any weak points may be.

I found this one much less enjoyable then the other- and firstly because the atmosphere seem to betray the former feel you gave to your movies. The first Undead Steel was eerie.. but unique. It was enjoyable and you couldn`thelp but find yourself captivated and wondering where you`d take your imagination. This attempted the same thing but the almost upbeat tune and the bright colors took away from the eerie feel and thusly that hook. Instead it draws out more confusion from the mixed messages.

I do appreciate the fact that you animated things more fully then one looped motion, and that you tried to draw a plot into the mix. The art seemed to suffer once you did this, the animation becoming a bit messier, but if it`s out of your comfort zone then this can be expected.

My largest beef is what you did last time- you just sort of .. stopped. Seemingly cut off in mid-animation. As if you didn`t really know where you wanted to end and just decided 'eh I`ve had enough' and called it a complete product. This isn`t so and it`s exceedingly noticable. It gives all the effect and pleasure of sudden being met with an abrupt stop by a brick wall.

Over all I still like your concept, and it`s promissing. It just seems your straying away from perfecting what you`ve already attempted to establish.

Though the animation wasn`t the best it was obvious you weren`t shying away from the challenge so I`m going to pass over that point however, I feel there is a more immediate and much more necessary point that should be made;

When it comes to stuff like this- and especially with singing you need, need, /need/ a good voice actor. Whoever was singing seemed like they were more preoccupied with trying to sound good and because of that the song completely lacked any emotion. It was rather well written but without any emphasis or heart it makes the whole ordeal well.. boring.

Stop worrying about what people think of your singing voice and nail the words, and put emphasis on them. Otherwise hearing someone list off titles in a monotone makes it painful to listen to as a viewer.

As the consensus goes;
There`s random; and then there`s

What the hell?

The sad part about this is looking at it purely from an animation perspective; you certainly have a unique style with real potential. The sharp angles and the over all nature of your animation would be great for the unnerving effect I think you`re trying to achieve. You just fell short of your goal.

The first issue is the loud noises. The sounds aren`t unnerving- they`re shrill. They don`t give a sense of being eerie.. it just gets obnoxious and people find themselves reading over to turn the volume down. The best way to turn this around would be to clean up the sound quality- lessen the volume; and add some background music that sets the atmosphere rather than allowing the shrill noises to attempt to.

I also can understand and appreciate randomness; and again you come close but fall short. Random can be captivating in a manner like no other; but the point of being random is to maintain the randomness. Have something new occur that is completely unexpected. That`s what draws peoples attention- even if it`s sick fascination- and they continue to watch. Here it`s the same thing looped time and time again with new things added very rarely and far between. Either add consistency; or keep everything completely unrelated. It can`t hint at a middle ground.

Over all I`m sorry to say it was a disappointment. I believe I know what you /were/ going for.. but it fell short..

Initially it didn`t leave a great impression so I allowed it to simmer and thought it through.

I do like the concept; the dramatics of it, and the obviously satirical nature to a 8-Bit video game. I think my number one complaint would have been that the joke about 'not feeling his legs' isn`t new or unique. So I`m left feeling like I want more from it.

I do however like the dramatic build up; and then a return to the 8-bit ending. The humor there wasn`t missed.

The sound quality is pretty good; if hard to make out in some places; the voice acting definitely had emotion which is great because that seems like half the battle.

The animation itself is pretty good; I`ve seen a number of critiques.. and they`re right. It`s rough in some places, but your heart is in the animation and you don`t seem to shy away. You definitely played off a good number of angles and the aesthetic appeal was there. It`s just a matter of practice instead of process.

Over all i`d be interested in seeing some more ideas of yours; and something with a longer play time to ste any real opinion to.

It`s always promising to see the start of another series- SO let me say first and foremost that I hope to see more. And hope to god that you stick to this and start producing more; where as most series fall face first on their opening and seem to fall into oblivion. That being said;

The animation is amazing; definitely top of the line with few places to improve. The angles are fresh and enjoyable to watch. However the voice acting is very lack-luster. The zombie character seems torn between monotonous and expressive- if i had to guess I`d have to say you as the voice actor were holding back; next time give more of yourself to the acting.

The robots voice is obnoxious- I understand if you are a solo voice actor you need to alter your voice to provide a difference between the two; but the shrill and over processed quality makes it hard to follow what he is saying, and the very nature of the tone makes it unenjoyable to listen to.

That being said I once more, and quite sincerely, hope to see this series continue, and improve

Simply because it isn`t your song, and you so rudely have decided to deprive everyone else of it

The song is Ignorance is Bliss, By Jellyfish.

The animation was alright- unique, but the song really made this, which is why it perturbs me that you seem to guard it as if it`s your own. Suddenly the flash isn`t so amazing when the key point is taken away.

My personal opinion. You have the talent to make good flashes. Just give credit where credit is due.
